Rupesh Patel

B.Eng., M. Eng., CIH

Rupesh has an Under-Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering (B. Eng.), and a Masters Degree (M. Eng.) in Industrial Hygiene and Safety from Sardar Patel University in 2005. The American Board of Industrial Hygiene awarded Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) status to Rupesh in 2010.

As a Field Industrial Hygiene Specialist, Rupesh has visited hundreds of oil and gas sites in Western Canada assessing industrial sites for occupational and environmental stresses to the worker since 2006. Rupesh has been involved in Baseline Industrial Hygiene Assessments for over 300 Oil and Gas facilities in Western Canada.

Rupesh is one of the few hygienists familiar with conducting Benzene Emission Testing for Dehydrators as specified in the Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB) requirements of Alberta. Rupesh has also working knowledge with refineries through his experience with Reliance India at their Jamnagar Refinery for one year.

Rupesh is well experienced with industrial hygiene monitoring and has worked closely with production, process, and safety engineering. He is knowledgeable in the implementation of international standards of Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series-18000 (OSHAS 18000), International Organization of Standardization ISO-14000.

Rupesh is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), and the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) since 2007.
